Leah Gulstrand returns to VDP after touring Europe the past few years.  She is an artist, dancer, and teacher from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a B.F.A graduate, class of 2018 from the University of Utah in Modern Dance. She is a recipient of the University of Utah Fine Art’s Full Academic Tuition Scholarship for Dance, which was granted in the spring of 2014 and has continued to renew through the 2018 year. She has performed in many venues and spaces across Minnesota, Utah, Oregon, and Germany; including the Minnesota Fringe festival, Oquirrh West Project (former company member), and in Berlin with DART Dance Company. She has worked at several studios nationally throughout the U.S.A, including in Salt Lake City and the twin cities. She is also a two-time recipient of the SALT Dance Choreography festival, for best Professional Solo. She has taught Ballet for 8 years, and continues to strive to bring the most advanced and up-to-date ballet education she can to her students.
