2023 SUMMER CLASSES
We are so excited for all of the amazing summer classes VDP has in store for you this summer. Summer is the perfect time to try a new class or to develop your skills, while not having to balance school-work and extracurricular activities. Victoria Dance Productions offers classes for dancers age 2.5-18, for all skill levels – Beginner to Advanced.
The 2023 Summer Session Season runs from June 11h to August 22nd season of dance. A majority of our classes are 6-week sessions. We know summer is busy and you may need to miss a class. So, we have already prorated the price! Take the 6-week session for the price of 5 classes.
Several classes have registration discounts! Be sure to register by June 1st to save more on your summer dance!
Also please note, as summer class sizes are very limited, there is a 20% cancellation fee on all classes held from June 11-September 5. The balance of the refund will be credited to your VDP account to be used for your next class session.

CAMPS
Summer Camps For Our Little Ones!

Acro For Dance Tiny Tots

Your pre-school dancers will flip for this tumbling class! This class will introduce your tiny tot to the basics of acrobatics, the combination of classical dance training with gymnastics, while developing their flexibility and strength.

Acro - Intermediate/ Advanced Competition Level
Acrobatics (or Acro) can be found in many styles of dance; Combining classical dance technique with acrobatic elements. Acro is the execution of extraordinary feats of balance, agility, and motor coordination. Our high-energy acro classes teach tumbling, tricks, and flexibility. This includes skills that are often used in dance routines and gymnastics floor routines. Join us to take your tumbling from somersaults to walk-overs and from cartwheels to aerials, hand springs and full tucks.

Pearls
AGES 3-4
Our Pearls class, for preschool age 3 – 4 1/2 years-old, is the start of our combination classes. In this 45-minute
class, dancers will begin to explore the sounds of tap dancing and the uplifting movement of ballet.
GRADE SCHOOL

This 55-minute class is for kindergarten and 1st graders. They will continue to develop the fundamentals of Tap and Ballet, and add the fun of jazz!
Advanced Tap/Jazz - Recreational Level

For grades 4-7, this 75 minute class concentrates on jazz and tap techniques focused on advancing your dancer to a higher level in these dance styles.

Contemporary
This class incorporates jazz, lyrical, modern and ballet styles. It adds strength and modern movements to our lyrical ballet steps. Contemporary is the perfect marriage of all of our soft shoe dance styles. The class will include across the floor, center lyrical and center contemporary combinations.
Classic Tap
This class will strengthen your basic tap vocabulary and technique. Dancers will work on tap barre, center combinations and short routines as they develop their classic tap skills.

Are your classic tap steps and style strong and now you want a bit more? Contemporary tap is the next step. This class works the “hoofer” or rhythm style of tap that is used in more advanced routines and shows.

Dancer Strength, Conditioning & Recovery
A dancer’s core and body strength is one of the most important attributes for a successful dancer. This strength is developed over time with the right combination of training and exercises. This class is the start to developing the best mix of strength, flexibility and cardio endurance your body can achieve. We will also work on the very important phase of recovery! This step is vital to our body’s health and wellness.
